The Delegate Wiki is coming!!!!
The final touches and edits to the new Delegate Wiki are being done and we hope to have it up and running soon. Basic Wiki Training will be given by Wendy Weeden in September via a webinar with a date to be announced. Wendy will also give a demonstration at the Fall Delegate Meeting in Albany, (October 4th from 6-8pm) so be sure to put that on your calendar. This will be a introduction to how wikis work as well as a tour of the delegate wiki.

Commenting on a Posted Topic is Easy! So is Starting a New Post!
If you wish to comment on any of the posted topics in this blog, simply click on the blue link at the bottom of the post showing the number of comments (e.g. 2 comments). This will open to a page of all the comments. At the bottom of all the comments you will see a text box for your comment. When asked to choose a profile select "Name/URL" and enter your name (skip URL) Still sign your post with your name and Service Unit. Then hit "Post Comment". Easy!
How does it then show up on the blog page? This is a public blog. As such your comment goes into a queue so the blog administrator (Sally Martire) can validate the comment's authenticity before it is published to the blog page. Sally is automatically alerted when a new comment has been placed in the queue and she will go in as quickly as possible to review the comment and publish it. Then it will appear with the other comments. Hope this helps to make your blogging easy.
So..what if you want to start a new post? When you are on the blog page you will see a "Sign In" link on the upper right had corner. Click on this and enter the e-mail and password provided in documents sent to delegates for the Annual Meeting. Once you are in, there is a tab to click on for "New Post". Enter your post, press the button "Publish Post". And again since this is a public blog it will go into a queue and then be released by the administrator after reviewed for authenticity. Once that happens it will appear on the blog page.
